Helping Long-Term Care Organizations Improve Quality in Services

Who We Are and What We Do

The Seniors Quality Leap Initiative (SQLI) was established by North America’s leading Long Term Care organizations in 2010, out of their collective desire to improve clinical quality and safety for seniors. Today, SQLI has grown into a strong community of practice, with committed member organizations and partner organizations across North America.

SQLI has engaged leading Senior Care providers in a novel, collaborative effort to improve clinical quality and safety as they relate to the quality of life of seniors, by sharing performance data and the results of specific quality improvement initiatives.
